Out of chronological sequence update
Thought I had better upload something for New Years 2012 - even if I do have a backlog of two months of photos and text to upload over the coming weeks…
Edinburgh’s Hogmanay is the only New Years Eve Festival in Europe, stretching over three days. This is from the torchlit procession, where Vikings, followed by a flag bearer and a pipe band led thousands and thousands of torch bearing people through the streets of the capital up to Calton Hill. There a bonfire was lit, and fireworks set off. More to come…
